Jum’a (Friday) prayer

The weekly sermons are prepared and revised beforehand to ensure the high quality of the service provided, but most importantly the topics are chosen with careful thought to suit the needs and development of the community here in Leeds. We are keen that such knowledge reaches out to the majority of our congregations who are non-Arabic speakers and thus an English translation is provided after the Arabic sermon. Furthermore, we cater for our deaf Muslims, with a sign language interpreter available each week forwarding the sermon to the deaf congregation.

These sermons are uploaded on a weekly basis to the LGM website (khutbah) so that this is a beneficial reminder for all our worshippers whether they are able to attend the Friday sermon or not.
