- 23rd of April 2022 - The visit of Sheikh and Qari' Mohamed Jebril
Sheikh Muhammad Jebril, a famous imam and a Qari' from Egypt, honoured LGM community with his visit in Ramadan to lead ‘Taraweeh’ prayers at Leeds Grand Mosque.
- 13th of May 2022 - Certificate of Recognition by Lord Mayor of Leeds
LGM has been recognised for its contribution to the community by Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Asghar Khan. This recognition is the outcome of the collective spirit in the LGM community because without your continuous support the Leeds Grand Mosque wouldn't have made such a positive impact on the city of Leeds and wellbeing of our local residents that led to such achievement.
