Deaf Muslim Community
Leeds Grand Mosque has been supporting Deaf Muslims in our local community for a number of years. Every Ramadhan we hold a collection for their organisation, i.e. ‘Muslim Deaf UK’. They also hold a sign language (BSL) translation of the khutbah upstairs every Friday and every fortnight they use the mosque to hold their study group. Imam Taher also supports them and teaches them occasionally.
