*** Ramadan Kareem ***
Assalamu alaikum wa rahamt'Allah wa barakatuhu
Dear brothers and sisters,
With great pleasure we announce that today Sunday 5th May is the last day of the month of Sha'ban, and so Monday 6th May will be the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan!
Our first Taraweeh prayer will insha’Allah be today, after we combine Maghrib and Isha.
From Monday onwards we will pray Isha and Taraweeh at 10:30pm until further notice.
Below are some important notes to keep in mind:
In order to deliver peaceful and secure Taraweeh prayers, we have stepped up our security procedures, we will have SIA qualified security guards on all entrances including indoor security officers. We strictly advise against congregation in front of the mosque.
Health & Safety-
- Fire doors should never be opened nor blocked at all times.
- During prayers never move chairs from where mosque's staff have positioned them.
Donations and Appeals-
- We will be keeping you updated with all charity appeals taking place after Taraweeh. These will include collections for our mosque and for the various services we deliver.
- Caring for the environment is important to us as Muslims. We are aiming to reduce the use of plastic bottles in the mosque by ordering reusable BPA-free bottles. For this reason we kindly request that you donate money towards these rather than donating bottled water.
We wish you all a blessed month, full of peace and great rewards for all your good deeds.
