Eid Mubarak

July 29, 2020
Dear sisters and brothers,
Peace be upon you and ALLAH's mercy and blessings. Eid Mubarak to you all
We would like to announce that Thursday, July 30th, is the ninth of The Month of Dhu'l-Hijja - The Day of Arafa - and that Eid falls on Friday, July 31st, the tenth of Dhu'l-Hijja.
In the interests of your safety and the safety of the Leeds city community, we regret and are saddened that we will not be able to open the mosque for this year's Eid al-Adha prayers.
One of the rulings accompanying these days is fasting the day of Arafa for non-pilgrims. One of them also is that it is permissible to perform Eid prayers in homes, in congregation and individually.
We will have a Live Broadcast on the mosque’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Friday at 11 o’clock in the morning to greet the LGM congregation accompanied by a short talk by our Imam Sheikh Dr Taher
You have all the love from us in the Leeds Grand Mosque, your feast is blessed, and your joy is accepted. May ALLAH swt accept all your good deeds in these very blessed days.
Kindest regards,
The Leeds Grand Mosque family
