Dr. Omar is an associate professor in strategy at the University of Huddersfield-the business school. He has academic, as well as, practical experience in strategic planning, project management, and organizational behaviour. He obtained his PhD from the University of Leeds. He is now the head of the Cultural department, which role would be to enrich our understanding of the overlapping area between Islam as a religion and as a practice. This comprises the emphasis of Muslims as an indispensable (in comparison isolated and marginalized) component of the UK social fabric. To this end, we shall provide activities including seminars, events, and discussion tables, while capitalizing on the mosque media network to increase the outreach”.
