The Holy Qur'an memorisation competition Ramadan 1431H

Leeds Grand Mosque would like to invite every one (no age restriction) to participate in the Quran competition. The last day for registration will be Friday 3/09/2010. Competition day will be on Sunday 5/09/2010 after Dhuhr prayer 13:30 insha'Allah.

The participants can join in two groups:

First group - for children under the age of 10 - two levels:

First level: the last 15 Surats from Juz' Amma (Al-'Adiyat to An-Nas).

Second level: half of Juz' Amma. From (Al-A'la to An-Nas).

Second group - for all ages - six levels:

Third level: Any 1 full Juz' of the Quran.

Fourth level: Any 2 full Juz' of the Quran.

Fifth level: Any 4 full Juz' of the Quran.

Sixth level: Any 6 full Juz' of the Quran.

Seventh level: Any 8 full Juz' of the Quran.

Valuable prizes for the winners

Important Note:

• The participants who are under the age of 10 can participate in the First or second group; whereas, those who are above 10 can only participate in the Second group.

• For Registration, fill in the form which is available at the mosque and placed in the suggestion box or handed to any one of the mosque committee, or fill the form online at the mosque’s website.

• Full Juz’ should be connected sura’s, such as Amma, Tabarak or the first Juz’ of Albaqarah.
